The Horn Lake Choir Department is a vibrant and inclusive community of young musicians in grades 6–12, dedicated to excellence in vocal performance and musical growth. Through dynamic rehearsal experiences and a wide variety of repertoire—spanning classical, gospel, pop, multicultural, and contemporary genres—students develop both skill and passion for choral music.
Our program emphasizes vocal technique, musical literacy, and expressive artistry, while encouraging creativity, confidence, and collaboration. Students will not only learn to read and interpret music with fluency, but also to critically evaluate performances, embrace musical diversity, and connect emotionally with their audience. Whether discovering their voice for the first time or preparing for advanced musical opportunities, every student is empowered to grow as both a performer and a well-rounded musician.
